USAID Regional Water and Vulnerable Environment Activity reminds you about the research competition for citizens of Central Asia.

Deadline for submission: March 30, 2024
This competition focuses on designing and implementing research on water resources, environment, and other related areas, including integrated water resources management (IWRM) and promoting the Water-Energy-Food-Environment (WEFE) Nexus approach.

Thematic areas:
• Intersectoral cooperation
• Climate change and environmental issues
• Innovative approaches in management
• Transboundary, political, and socioeconomic issues

Following candidates are invited to participate in the competition:
o Independent young scientists from Central Asian countries
o Employees of scientific and research centers
o Graduate students
o PhD and postgraduate students

Duration: up to 1 year (May 2024 - April 2025)
Funding: up to $3000
