Central Asia Green University in Uzbekistan accepts applications for study from the countries of the region

The Central Asian University for the Study of the Environment and Climate Change (Central Asia Green University), established this year in Uzbekistan, announced the acceptance of applications for bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs, the press service of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.

"The educational process at the University is planned to be conducted in cooperation with prestigious foreign universities. Graduates of Central Asia Green University will be included in the National Personnel Reserve with the acquisition of five years of work experience — in the list of promising candidates appointed to senior positions in their specialty," the message says.

The study will be conducted in English on a credit-modular basis. The first year of study will be allocated to the basic program, three more — according to the bachelor's degree system, and those who wish to continue their studies will be able to enroll in a master's degree.

The University's Bachelor's degree program includes the following areas of study: environmental and sustainable management, ecology and economics, ecology and public administration; the Master's program — environmental law, environmental journalism, sustainable development and sustainable financing.

It is noted that "annually at least 25 grant places are allocated for citizens of Central Asian countries to study in bachelor's degree areas, as well as at least 20 grant places in master's and doctoral (PhD) specialties in accordance with the procedure and conditions determined by the Cabinet of Ministers."
