GOAL

To improve existing drinking water management systems in seven target rural areas in the Kyrgyz Republic through capacity building, fair pricing, and rational use of drinking water via implementation of an automated billing payment system.

OBJECTIVES  

  • To develop capacity development in seven Rural Public Associations of Consumers of Drinking Water (RPACDW) and staff of the Department of Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation (DDWSS) through education and training for improving the existing water management system. 

  • To implement fair pricing and rational use of drinking water via an automated billing payment system. 

  • To empower women, youth, and marginalized groups in decision-making processes for drinking water use.
