National celebration of Amu Darya River Day in Turkmenistan
The events included a meeting with stakeholders to discuss water management issues in the Amu Darya River Basin, tree planting and clean-up activities along the Shavat Canal, and an award ceremony for winning students in the art contest on the theme, "The Amu Darya is a River of Friendship.”
Participants included representatives from the State Committee for Water Management, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, local authorities, and students from Turkmen Agricultural Institute.
