The USAID Regional Water and Environment Project held celebrations for Syr Darya River Day in Namangan to highlight the need for improved transboundary cooperation in water resources management. Under the theme “Syr Darya – River of Friendship,” the events helped raise awareness of the water and climate challenges facing the region and emphasized the importance of joint action to ensure the future economic prosperity and water security of Central Asia.
